Where Are You Headed?

"If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten." - Tony Robbins

This quote keeps me on track when my mind fights back telling me:

😫 “I CAN’T do this!” (Self-Sabotage)

😨 “This feels uncomfortable!” (Hijacked by old stubborn neural pathways)

😤 “I want it NOOOooowww!” (Instant gratification habit)

😭 “Why MEEE?!” (Victim mode)

😖 “This is so UNFAIR!” (Angry at life)

😑 “No one understands!” (Angry at others)

Yes, all of the above thoughts have crossed my mind probably thousands of times over the years in response to:

👉 Change (usually healthy and/or necessary change)

👉 The unfamiliar

👉 Areas in my life that require consistent effort

👉 Accountability (What? It’s up to ME?)

👉 Self-honesty

👉 Building necessary new ways of thinking

👉 Building necessary new ways of behaving

👉 Building a necessary new supportive lifestyle

Truth is, everything in our life regardless of how horrible it may seem at the time, how uncomfortable it is, how we may think no one in the universe understands the ins and outs of it...

WE are actually in the DRIVER’S SEAT to a degree. To quite a significant degree.

Hmmm. Not so convenient. It means no more wishing upon a star, and taking action instead. Even if we are exhausted. Especially if we are exhausted, because that's our body, mind and spirit screaming out for help and quick.

Good news is, you have more control than you realise, and even small steps and incremental changes are typically more impactful than you realise too.

Check-in with yourself and do an audit

⏩ Which direction are you facing in?

⏩ Is it a good direction? An effective direction? A helpful one?

⏩ Does it point to where you wish to go?

Or do you need to change where your feet and mind are aiming?

I was chatting to a client today about a quote I love, "If you are facing in the right direction, all you need to do is keep walking." (You know who you are and again, you're kicking butt with your fabulous results!🙌)

Point in action is: Get the correct tools in place, get your compass showing you the right direction - then it's all systems go! Eye on the Prize, and just keep walking!

Whatever your goal. Tinnitus rehabilitation in this case, but it also applies to any health issue, any personal issue, any life issue.

Just make sure you're facing the right direction for your outcomes.

From there, it all falls into place.
