Rumination = Creation



Did you know...

That your body can’t tell the difference between a simple thought of the past, and actual reality in your present?

What this means is that if you keep thinking about unpleasant experiences, ruminating or are ‘stuck in the past’, you are literally re-living those very experiences, and forcing your cells to swim in a cocktail of the very same biochemicals those negative experiences produced for you at that time (most likely adrenaline and cortisol - hello fight/flight/freeze!)

It doesn’t matter if it was 25 years ago, or just an hour ago. It’s all the same to your body. Physiologically this has disastrous health implications.


You are literally re-living those very experiences, and forcing your cells to swim in a cocktail of the very same biochemicals

This applies to positive experiences too.

Except when tapping into positive ruminations, it has incredibly beneficial health implications instead, releasing a biochemical cocktail of feel-good hormones (more serotonin, dopamine and endorphins anyone?)

When you find yourself ruminating, catch yourself...


  • What were you tuning into?

  • What were you triggering within your body?

  • What destination were you creating for yourself?


Rumination = Creation. Quite literally within your physiology.
